SUMMARY
Our letter supports a campaign by Americans for Financial Reform.
It asks the Senate to reject Brian Johnson’s nomination to head the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Johnson was deputy director of the CFPB during Trump’s first term when the agency weakened protections against predatory payday lenders, weakened enforcement, and favored financial corporations over consumers.
We will send your email messages to your Senators, and you will also have the opportunity to tweet your message to them.
