SUMMARY
Our action supports a campaign by the Wilderness Society, Wild Montana, and other organizations. This bipartisan bill closes a loophole that allowed Congress to bury the proposal to sell off public lands in a budget bill.
It affirms that any proposal to sell or transfer our public lands permanently deserves full public debate, transparency, and bipartisan support.
