Dear Friend,

Progressive Secretary is “Activism Made Easy.” Here’s another opportunity to make your voice heard. See directions below.

This is a comment to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). It supports campaigns by Defenders of Wildlife, the Sierra Club, and other organizations. The BLM requested public comments on the Trump administration’s proposal to roll back the Public Lands Rule.

We strongly encourage you to submit a comment. We must counteract the comments submitted by those who want to destroy our public lands.

Here are some suggestions for comments.

#1: I support the Public Lands Rule, and I urge the BLM to maintain it.

#2: I support the Public Lands Rule, and I urge the BLM to maintain it.

Ninety-two percent of the comments submitted on the draft Public Lands Rule supported it. Reversing the rule would undermine years of public engagement and widespread support for balanced, modernized land management.

#3: I support the Public Lands Rule, and I urge the BLM to maintain it

The rule rebalanced the agency’s focus from industrial use to its equally important responsibility to manage wildlife and natural resources sustainably. By rescinding it, the BLM is ignoring the reality that development-focused practices have left our public lands in substandard condition, a situation compounded by climate change and chronic drought.
